With having so much content and articles, do you ever run into any problems of plagiarism or copyright violation?
My website has a lot of exclusive content which I’ve either authored myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my authorization.
Do you know any techniques to help reduce content from being stolen? I’d definitely appreciate it.
Hi Dane,
As a blogger/webmaster, people often find their original content to be scraped/copied and published by other websites. They also tries to rewrite or make a few changes.
Best way is to protect your content from being stole/scraped. If already published, then you should reach out to the admin and ask to remove the content.
You can also file a DMCA request to remove from the Google search (here).
Great ideas! Thanks!
😉
Hey would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re using?
I’m looking to start my own blog soon but I’m having a tough time deciding between Blog Engine/WordPress/B2evolution and Drupal.
P.S Apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!
No problem.
This site is built on WordPress. But, there are other good platforms also.

Hi,
Should we worry if the Pinterest backlink doesn’t come up on backlink reports, through AHREFs etc? My boss is concerned that it’s coming up as a backlink for competitors and not for us, but we’ve done all the steps, so I can’t really see what else we can do.
Thanks.
No Sofia,
There is nothing much to worry.
If your Pinterest page is showing on Google (check by searching, site:pinterest.com ‘Your page name’) and not showing in Ahrefs Backlink report, then there could be number of reasons.
Here are few:
If you Pinterest page isn’t showing on Google & Ahrefs report, your page might have low Authority.
Solution: Hire a good freelancer (low cost at Fiverr) who can work on Pinterest Page to increase follower, view, Activity and Authority.
Evenuatly, it will show up Google as well as Ahrefs report.
